Annual Home Education Portfolio Evaluations:


Offering stress free portfolio evaluations for K-12 students throughout Florida. Evaluations include a meeting with Ms. Christina via phone or video call. The call will consist of a relaxed conversation between Christina, the parent/guardian and the student(s). Parents may spend time chatting before bringing the student(s) into the call. The evaluation experience is tailored to the specific needs of each family. Feel free to communicate any specific needs or concerns during the scheduling process. Christina is an approved direct provider through Step Up and all services are reimbursable to students using Florida education scholarships. If you would like to schedule using scholarship funds through direct pay please contact me.

Remote Evaluation Process :
1) Use the Schedule button below:  
  • Choose the appropriate number of students and then reserve a date/time.
    • If you would like to use direct pay with SUFS scholarship funds e-mail me the chosen date, time, and the child's full name. I will schedule you in the system and send you a confirmation. [email protected]
  • Please provide the requested student information on the confirmation page.
  • A Zoom meeting will be automatically scheduled and emailed to you ahead of the scheduled appointment. 
    • If you prefer to meet via phone or using another video chat platform please note that in your reservation comment section with the preferred contact information. Christina will use that method to contact you and the Zoom meeting information can be ignored.

2) At least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled call time use the E-Mail Me button ([email protected]) below to send the following information for each student :
  • Student's full name (please also send date of birth, address, and parent/guardian name(s) if you did not provide it during the reservation process.)
  • Samples of work that show progress from at least two subjects (send as: photos/scans/links to online portfolio, etc).
    • Transcripts or grade reports can be sent in addition to work samples. 
  • A log of reading materials
  • A log of activities

3)  Watch your email for the appointment confirmation and Zoom meeting information (sent ahead of scheduled call directly from the website.)
At the close of the call Christina will e-mail you the evaluation paperwork to submit to your county school board office.

Change/Cancellation Policy: There is a no-fee 24 hour change/cancellation policy on evaluations and consultations. Appointments may be cancelled within that 24 hour time frame up to two times. If more than two date/time changes need to be made to the original appointment, it will be cancelled (without a refund) and you will have to schedule a new appointment moving forward.

 Consultations / Choice Navigation:

Consultations and Choice Navigation services are conducted via phone or video call and are tailored to the specific needs of each family. Services are scheduled in 20/40/60 minute blocks depending on the level of support you are looking for. Schedule if you are seeking educational guidance for a specific student need, starting your homeschooling adventure, desiring a mid-year check in, looking for support with homeschooling curriculum choices, portfolio documentation, or navigating high school planning. Christina is an approved direct provider through Step Up and all services are reimbursable to students using Florida education scholarships. 2) . ​Send the following information using the notes section or E-Mail Me ([email protected] or use button above):    


  • Student's full name (please also send date of birth, address, and parent/guardian name(s) if you did not provide it during the reservation process.)     
  • Brief description of reason for consultation, areas of interest for feedback, and/or concern(s).
  • If applicable - ​​​ send samples of work, curriculum, and/or logs you’d like feedback on.

3) Watch your email for the appointment confirmation and Zoom meeting information (sent ahead of scheduled call directly from the website.)
At the close of the call Christina will follow up with a consultation notes form and supporting resources (when applicable).
